WWW Wednesday #3

WWW Wednesday, (meme hosted by Should be Reading) where I talk about what I’m reading and planning on reading. Haven’t done one of these in a while, because I’ve been slogging through A Song of Ice and Fire, so I didn’t really have anything interesting to report that didn’t involve drooling over Jon Snow or cheering Arya Stark on or all of those good things.

So, here’s what’s up.

What are you currently reading?

Like I said, I’m still on A Song of Ice and Fire. I think I’ll read this one and the next all the way through before I really start on anything else. There are a lot of names and characters to remember, and I don’t want to forget anything.

What have you finished reading?

It was SOOO GOOD! Lots of people die. But some are more dead than others, as the last scene makes clear. :O Can’t wait until this book is adapted. I liked it even better than A Clash of Kings.

What are you going to read next?

I’m technically in the middle of this book, but I haven’t read it for over a year. It got packed up with my other books from Halifax and put in storage. So tomorrow I think I’m going to go dig it up. Kate Forsyth is an amazing Austrailan author who writes Scottish/Celtic inspired fantasy. All of her characters have thick Scottish accents. Her writing is such that I want to read every single detail of what’s going on. She also has a series called Witches of Eileanan that I probably should’ve started reading before this one–it’s set in the same world, and Rhiannon’s Ride seems to be a spin off of sorts, with some new characters.

Oh Maggie Stiefvater. You are the best. I promise I will read you, after I’m finished with A Dance with Dragons.

Yeah…. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚
